AD4802: Double Page Spread

Final Layout:

This is my final mock up idea for my double page spread. I have gone with this layout because i wanted to use a larger image as the "cover photo" to fully introduce the story of the runners. I have kept a grid layout on my double page spread and have also added colour. I have done this to fill the page and make it more interesting. The colour blue matches the blue which is on the title. I have done this because i wanted to have a theme of running colours and I went with blue. The photos i have used for this assignment all match together because i have shown photos which show moment. This will support the writing as i will go in to it the running club and different types of runners which can be seen in the photos.

For my double page spread i was following the layout of the Sunday times and runners world. I have mixed them together as i didn't like how the Sunday times was heavily lead by text and i wanted my Double Page spreads to be photo lead as it is the photos that i am wanting to show off to the viewer. I have used parts of the runners world layout by using the bgridf lay out on the side of the page on the second double page spread.
