AD4803 (Street): Edits so far

Shoot 1:

What i like about this first photo is the simplicity of it. Due to this photo being taken before the shops, etc were open, its shows much quieter atmosphere. However, i feel as though this photo would have worked better if the subject was wearing a brighter colour as there isn't a contrast with the green and grey.

I think that the best thing about this photo is the repetition of the colours of blue. The main reason i stopped to take this photo is because i liked how there was a guy wearing a blue top reading a newspaper, and due to the background i though that all the colours would fit well together.

What i like about this photo is how the red and black of the by-passers matches with the backdrop. However, I didn't focus in on these people fast enough so they're out of focus, however I think this still works as the background is in focus instead.

Shoot 2:

1. I took this photo from behind the subject as I liked how the skateboard contrasts against the black clothing of the skater. However when I took this photo it was slightly underexposed so I had to brighten it slightly in photoshop to make it brighter and easier to tell whats going on. I am still happy with outcome of this photo but I'm not sure if I will use it for my final few photos.

2. What i like about this photo is how the two guys came in to the frame at the right time, however i think the background is slightly overexposed which has helped to balance the dark coats of the by-passers. But it has also meant that the sunlight looks too bright.

1. I struggled to balance this photo correctly which has left the background and the shadows are too dark, however i like the way the lighting is on the people who are sat at the table. I think that this photo would have been better with brighter colours as the black coats kind of merge in to the darkness of the background.

2. What i like about this photo are the colours of the 2 subjects in the cameras coats and also how the two dogs are almost facing the same way as the subjects. For example, the dog on the floor is facing the same way as the woman in the red coat in the background, the other dog is looking a different way but is on the womans lap, having a similar effect.

1. What i like about this photo is the contrasts there are. For example one of the main and most obvious ones is the colours of their jackets, one has a bright one one and the other is wearing black. The other contrasts include the difference in posture and age.

2. When i took this shot i saw a woman wearing pink out side if a shop with pink and thought it would make a good shot. This is my favourite photo that i took on this shoot. This is because of all of the pink that is in the shop and on the subject. this has helped to provide evidence for the fact that i am looking out for colour while on the street.

1. What i like about this shot is he way the bus has framed the subject. Here i have caught a candid moment as the woman is looking on her phone for something and the bus could be waiting for her to do this. The colour of her coat is an isolated colour as the colours of the bus are quite dull.
