These photos were taken for the first part of my studio module. This is the first time i have used the studio independently so i am happy with the outcome of this and the amount of photos produced. For this session i started by having my model look into the camera and move around as they please, i quickly realised that this technique was create similar posed photos so i had my model listen to music through earphones which then created a more fun looking photoshoot. In these photos you can see a lot more movement as the model enjoys the music. Eventually i had my model sit on a chair to create more serious portraits. Some of these photos i have aimed to create for a magazine such as people.
The main aim for this photoshoot was to focus on the lighting used. At the start of the photoshoot i started with one lighting source on the left side of the model. I then eventually added in another one on the right side of the model. After a while i wanted to test out some shots where just the right side of the photo has been lit. My favourite lighting set up is when i used both of them as it lit both sides of the models face up more. Below i have included the lighting set ups of these photos:
The next stage of my plan is to edit a few of my favourite photos from the shoot. I want to brighten the backgrounds of these photos. Whilst editing them i will continue to consider the use of a magazine cover lay out. In my next photoshoot i want to and have a light facing the background to make it brighter as well as 2 on the model. I will also experiment with putting lights beind the model and exposing this correctly.
