AD5804: Initial research

Sports photography

I want to research in to sports photography as a career as part of this module as this is something i have been getting in to more recently. I plan to research in to more about this career path. This will include photographing a range of different sports to build my portfolio up and also researching in to the actual career its self. This includes the kit i will need, how to establish myself as a photographer, any agency's i could aim to work with and how demanding the work could be.

Portrait photography

I will also be looking in to portrait photography as a career, potentially as a backup or to do

alongside sports photography. This will be beneficial because i can use skills from the studio to benefit this. Throughout my academic career i will continue to learn studio based activities so that i can take these skills and use them for something such as a headshot. This could be helpful as i can use these skills to further my career in sports photography if i was taking headshots for a sports club.
