Adam Rubin, Lens Culture: UK Football Fans
Adam Rubin is a photographer who "documents the hyper real passion of football fans in the UK- from stadiums and the pubs to how they dress and decorate their homes."
Adam Rubin has created a photo project for Lens Culture based on UK Football fans. In his photos you can se the drinking culture surrounding football and also goes in to the homes of football fans showing the dedication of them and their support towards the team. Adam Rubin has chosen to keep the colour on the photo which has meant that there is a repeat of the colours across his photos showing that they have one thing in common which is the club that they support. This shows the passion towards the club and the energy that the fans have to help support the club and sport itself.
What i like about Adam Rubins work as pictured below is how he has shown the passion towards football through the facial expressions of the fans and the bright colours. In my own work through out the process i have edited my photos in black and white and colour, but however i stuck to the black and white edits because i felt that this kept the focus on the people rather than the club.
