As i am coming up to having to exhibit my own work form my book " When Saturday comes. The benefits that come with exhibiting work include being able to see your photos printed and physically in front of you. Another benefit to exhibiting work is that you can understand this side of the industry. This is something that i think is important because I personally currently have skills involving being online and on screen and would like to learn how a set up for an exhibition works. Other Photographers may choose to exhibit work to attract more people to look at it, either for buying purposes or hiring purposes. It will help photographers to network with other photographers and people with in the industry.

For my photos i have decided to make them A4 in size but however i have put the photos on to a white boarder This is because i feel that it gives the photos a similar look to the layout of my photo book that was produced earlier in the module. The layout i am wanting to do for my exhibition is similar to the photo but however with less photos. I am deciding to exhibit 3 to 4 photos and will have these either be in 1 line going down or in square set up of 2x2. I am doing this because i am going to continue the trend of the pattern of the quiet photos against the busier photos.
Historical and contemporary gallery exhibitions:
Gallery exhibitions have developed from just photos in frames or just paintings, where artists may choose to use a more technological approach of exhibiting work through TV screens and projectors potentially. Photographers and artists may choose to create moving image over still image to show more of an action. For my exhibition i will be sticking with the traditional "frame and photo". This is because this si my first exhibition that I will be participating in so I am wanting to learn the skills of framing and hanging photos ready for an exhibition
