Tom Wood and Jane Stockdale:

Two of the books i have been looking at are both from photographers i have already researched. Tom Wood's book, Photie Man and Jane Stock Dale's book, Watching the World Cup.I have been using these books to look at how photographers lay out books to keep the interest of the viewers. Both of these have made the photos different sizes through out the book with the double pages either having 1 photo or 2/3. I plan to use a similar lay out idea in my photo book.

This is a page taken from the "Watching the World Cup" book. On this specific page one photo has been used taking up most of the page. Text has also been used which explains who the people are, what match they are watching, what the score is and how many minutes in to the game they are. I like the idea of having 1 photo on a page however because majority of my photos are landscape i want to do the book this way. This is also so that the faces of the people aren't changed in anyway by the binder of the book.

This is taken from Tom Wood's book, Photoie Man. I like the idea of having 2 photos side by side.Throughout my book i want to change the amount of photos on a page and size of them. This is because it will keep the interest of someone looking at the book as there will be constant changes.
