AD5807: Reflection

Football Fans:

These are the first 6 photos of my project on football fans. I have tried to focus on the location, Whaddon Road Stadium, as well as the fans of both the home club and the away club. I will continue to edit more from my previous photoshoots. I have decided to put my photos in black and white as i feel like colour would work better if the photos have a lot of people in them.

I have also used a range of photos where people are looking in to the camera, away and their backs as they are interacting with places around the stadium (for example the ticket stand and the food stand. I have done this because i wanted to mix up the shots and not have repetitive shots of fans just walking in groups of people to watch a game.

The strong points of my project so far are that you can tell the people i'm taking photos of are football fans as i'm only aim to use photos where you can see club merchandise. This is vital to a project on sports club fans as i am taking the photos from the outside of the stadiums so it makes it easier to make out that they are fans of the club.

Currently the weaknesses of my photo project are that the club i have been shooting around, Cheltenham Town Football Club are a smaller club meaning that not everyone is wearing the club merchandise, However i will continue shooting the fans to see if i can develop this in to more of a project.
