`AD5807: Tom Wood

Tom Woods Project looks in to the fans at Liverpool and Everton. The Project spans over the 80's to the early 2000's and is focused on the fans on the streets and the crowds.

This first photo shows people walking with crowds in the background. In my own work i have been showing how busy football stadiums get and the surrounding areas on match days. I have been focusing on clubs that aren't as big as the ones focused on in these clubs but in the future if i wanted to continue with the project i would look in to the bigger

football clubs and smaller football clubs to investigate the differences between the people at both of these. What i like about Tom Woods work is that he has has focused on all of the people rather than focusing on one or two people. In my own project i will be focusing on both of these elements as i don't want the whole project to feel repetitive in terms of the photos. I also like how Tom Wood has used both colour and black and white. I like this because you can then tell what club it is that they support. In my own work i have been looking at my edits in both black and white and colour but however i prefer the colour due to wanting to focus on the people who are supporting the club rather than the club branding of the supporters.
